Over the last year or so I have migrated my fishing setup to normally using a waist pack while on the water

My preferred hook setup is a size 4 VMC Mangrove Inline Single Hook on both the front and rear hook positions

The ideal hook size for these guys ranges from 1/0 to 4/0, depending on the size of the bait and the size of the fish youre targeting

We measured drag strength by tightening the reel to the tightest we could reasonably get it with our fingers, then attaching the reel to our UTM and averaging the force after the reel hit its peak (about 2 inches)
