Blue Velvet Tilt Hat auction This is just a neat

This is just a neat piece and made from a very nice deep red marble Bakelite

NOTE: The lining is a dark red/maroon color

They are a little dirty and need washed and some have a small hole Most have a loop at one end to hang it from

These would have been more of an artists item

The back of the tins asks you to "Please don't confuse us with the other Messmer" - apparently knock offs were a concern even in pre-war Germany

Blue Velvet Tilt Hat auction This is just a neatVintage 1940s blue velvet tilt hat with maroon netting. The netting has some large tears in it. This small hat is meant to be worn at an angle; it does not just sit on top of your head. Slight wear and very minor discoloration on the velvet.
