It still has a piece of carboard inside which was just a spacer to keep its shape prior to sale. Inside there are a number of paper sheets which are intended to soak up access ink that may bleed through paper while writing. There are also two large pockets, one of which is lockable. The key is still attached with a bit of string and wrapped in paper. This
