Join us in the beautiful region of Val d’Orcia in southern Tuscany for a truly unique experience!

Starting on Monday May 6 in Florence, you’ll meet your tour leader Paola Barbetti-Bohm  and the Roscioli sommelier accompanying you throughout the trip at the central Santa Maria Novella railway station.

Our private driver will first take us to San Gimignano, for a private guided tour of the “Hundred Towers Town”. You’ll get to know your small  group over lunch at an organic farm, immersed in the fabulous Tuscan countryside. The rest of the afternoon will include  a visit with wine tasting at the Podere Le Ripi where we will visit the splendid property and have a Terroir Experience with a 5 wine tasting in their cellar.

Check-in and dinner in hotel.

**May, 6 – 8 accommodation is provided in Hotel Antica Oliviera in Montalcino

On Tuesday May 7, we’ll start the day’s activities at 9:30AM, giving you plenty of time to enjoy a delicious Italian breakfast in the hotel; you’ll first enjoy a stroll in the picturesque “borgo” of Montalcino with your private guide Tiziana

Afterwards, on our private minibus we’ll explore the Val d’Orcia region which is UNESCO site, focusing on the art, history, traditions, landscape and of course, the excellence of Tuscany’s food and wine! The tour will take in Pienza,  with a stop to admire the iconic Vitaleta Chapel

After lunch we’ll continue our tour at a winemaker in Val d’Orcia, where we visit the beautiful property and have a wine tasting.

Return to hotel and dinner.

On Wednesday May 8, we’ll check-out after breakfast, then we jump back into the Middle Ages, visiting the stunning Benedictine Abbey of Sant’ Antimo. You may want to stop by the small monks’ drugstore, where genuine local products are available.

Our private driver with minibus will head then towards Florence, stopping at a Brunello winemaker where we’ll visit the property, undertake a wine tasting and eat lunch.

Final destination of this day is Florence, check in at Hotel and evening at leisure.

**May 8 – 10, accommodation is provided in 3* Paris Hotel

On Thursday May 9, after breakfast, you’ll meet up your private guide Paola, for a walking tour of the historic center of Florence (UNESCO site) which includes internal visit at the Accademia Gallery to see the stunning Michelangelo’s David marble statue.  We’ll have then a light lunch with a wine tasting at Enoteca Pitti Gola; some free time for shopping or some relax. at 18:00 we meet up again by the Arno river for a “barchino” tour, a lovely navigation on the river of Florence.

We’ll continue our afternoon together, with an aperitif on the roof-top of a 13th century original tower-house having one of the most spectacular view overlooking Florence, afterwards we’ll walk to our next destination for dinner at Osteria di Giovanni, one of the oldest “trattoria” in Florence .

On Friday May 10, after breakfast and check out,  we’ll finish our trip on high note, by visiting the unmissable Uffizi Gallery, seat of one of the most precious Renaissance painting collection, where we’ll be marveled by the beauty of Botticelli, Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raffaello’s masterpieces. The private guided tour ends at 11:30am, and so do Lilipans and Roscioli services.  Afterward, you can walk to your hotel to collect your luggage and transfer to Firenze S.Maria Novella train station or take a cab to Firenze Peretola airport.

PRICING

€ 2700,00, per person (based on two people sharing a double room)

The trip will run with a minimum of 10 guests and a maximum of 16 guests so you are guaranteed to be part of a small, intimate group.

€ 500,00 deposit is due immediately to confirm the booking, which will be deducted from the total price. This deposit is non-refundable, unless the tour is canceled because the minimun number of participants is not reached.

A 30% (of the remaining amount) secondary deposit due by February 1, 2024.

The final payment is due by April 1 2024

Terms and Conditions

In order to participate in our tours, Travel Insurance taken out in your country of residence is mandatory. A travel insurance policy providing coronavirus protections and related cancellations is highly recommended.

We are not responsible for any fees or changes you may become liable for relating to the airlines or other transportation not provided by us.
For all international travel, US citizen’s passports must be valid for at least six months after the end of their stay in Italy, and have at least three blank visa pages. It is your responsibility to confirm that your travel documents meet the entry and exit requirements for the full duration of your trip.
All cancellation requests must be in writing and are valid from the day we receive the request.

Cancellations from 30 days prior to departure: forfeit of €500, second deposit plus any vendor prepaid reservations.

Cancellations less than 15 days prior to departure: full payment required with no refund given.

We do not offer a refund for unused portions of the tour, including but not limited to, missed meals, hotel nights, and sightseeing.

The € 500,00 deposit in all instances is non-refundable, unless the  tour is canceled because the minimun number of participants is not reached.

**There are no exceptions to our cancellation policy
